Yep. We're generally not too strict about being on-topic, unless there's a meeting or some crisis going down - but those are usually handled in -devel and you'll be told to "please wait" if you blunder in and don't realise it before it's too late.

you have rules, then you have cards/powers that break the rules

and it's quite social...at times you'll negotiate deals

I’ve played Cosmic Encounter twice…once about a year ago, and once about a week ago

I first played at caltech in the early 80s

I think it’s held up much better than any game approaching that age

someone got drunk and decided (because he was losing badly) to piss on the game

when he sobered up he bought me another copy

and then he bought me a 3rd copy
