pankkake, I suppose in some sense it could be considered to be sufficiently non-destructive as to be allowable as an auto-edit, though it's not very consistent.

if this is voluntary, it's a bad idea. it's going to be harder to catch mistakes

especially for various artist releases, which are not in subcription emails

sometimes it's a shame there's no autoedit equivalent of a cancel

well yes, fixing/reverting edits is a pain. I can easily vote on mistakes (which are already too many), I can't possibly fix/revert as many

if a track is not listed on the back, but the lyrics are in the booklet under a heading "UNTITLED", should the recording be called "Untitled" or "[untitled]"?

Well, it depends if the track is titled "Untitled" or is untitled, so it's up to you based of data you have, in the doubt, ask the artist if possible ;) Similarly i added few tracks titled "Silence" which are not [silence]

502s are driving me mad, 666 would have been a better choice

is there any planned support for multi-track-flac-with-embedded-cue-sheet in picard (as in, taking the file and treating its embedded tracks as separate tracks for scanning/lookup purposes)?

there is a feature request for that in beets, at least

not sure if there is any progress towards it..

afaik nothing is planned about that, but you can add a feature request in Picard bugtracker

That would be a hilarious CotM. Everybody go back through their own edit histories and fix things they did wrong.

I fairly regularly go back through my CDs and correct things when I find them.

And to be fair, I'm not sure I entered anything mistakenly, just with very limited information. (No release status or release date, weird label.)

I'm sure there are things in my edit history that I'd like to do over. And someday I will (he says in presumably good faith).

Hi, I have set up a MusicBrainz development server, and it seems to be up to date (I can see the message Last replication packet received at 2015-04-30 20:03 UTC on the main page) but I don't see any "update" on the "recent Additions" panel... Is-it normal? Do I have to activate something? Thank you very much...

I have a vague understanding that

edit details or something are not replicated

if I were you I would look at that page on mb.org

and then see if recent ids from a few hours ago are in your replicated db

Well it seems ok. I can find the 2nd album displayed on mb.org "White Magik" from Deadboy in my own Dev MB server. I just wanted to know if there was something to do to enable the panel to update on my mirror...
