"mixed by x at y. mix engineers a, b, c" - are a,b,c assistant mixers then, or is that 4 mixers?

hello, how do you change the album name after you've already matched against musicbrainz database?example: i dropped a folder(album) in and it matched a specific album, but that album didn't have cover art, but the 'other version' option in rightclick menu only shows the one version, but i see on music brains there's the same album, but a few more words added to that album name
2015-06-14 16518, 2015
sleezio
example, i've saved the files as 'Yellow Submarine', but the one i want is 'Yellow Submarine Songtrack'
2015-06-14 16525, 2015
sleezio
maybe i'm asking how to retag files?
2015-06-14 16548, 2015

sleezio, but it's only the cover art you're concerned with?

I think he wants to manually select a particular edition
2015-06-14 16520, 2015

this time, yes, i'm not sure if i can add my own coverart, i didn't see an option
2015-06-14 16533, 2015
hibiscuskazeneko
sleezio, you can do that by selecting the release in Unmatched files and clicking "Lookup in Browser"

there are no unmatched, all songs in this album were matched/saved
2015-06-14 16533, 2015

there's 2 version of the same album, i'm wanting to switch...retag the album
2015-06-14 16521, 2015
CallerNo6
sleezio, and you want to retag only to get the cover art, correct?
2015-06-14 16534, 2015
sleezio
i matched/saved as yellow submarine, i'd like to retag these files to yellow submarine songtrack album
2015-06-14 16539, 2015
sleezio
yes
2015-06-14 16552, 2015
sleezio
unless there's a way i can manually add the coverart and save

sleezio: If the releases are in the same release group, you should be able to right-click the release in Picard and there should be an option for "Other versions" or something like that.
sleezio: Navigate to the release on musicbrainz.org that you want.
2015-06-14 16557, 2015
Freso
It should have a small green "Tagger" icon. Click that.
2015-06-14 16519, 2015
Zastai
if picard is set to listen at a port (and there are no firewall issues) there should be a green Tagger label to the right of the release name. clicking on that should load the release in picard
2015-06-14 16534, 2015
sleezio
i've tried clicking the green 'tag' icon as well, nothing happens
2015-06-14 16552, 2015
Freso
sleezio: Try to "lookup in browser" from Picard.
2015-06-14 16512, 2015
Freso
If Picard is using a different port for whatever reason, that should tell the browser what port that is.
2015-06-14 16524, 2015
Zastai
having said that freso, just tried it myself by just adding that to the url and it doesn't work even though I have picard open. guess the browser page needs to originate from a picard lookup
2015-06-14 16525, 2015
sleezio
well, i may need to port forward 8000 in router
2015-06-14 16526, 2015
Zastai
right
2015-06-14 16542, 2015
chungy
the link is to 127.0.0.1, no port forwards should be necessary
2015-06-14 16548, 2015
Freso
Zastai: Works fine as long as Picard actually listens on :8000.
2015-06-14 16509, 2015
chungy
look at the bottom of Picard's window, it should say what port it's listening on. Normally is 8000
2015-06-14 16513, 2015
sleezio
bottom right of picard: 'Listening on port 8000'
2015-06-14 16544, 2015
Freso
(Lately, I've taken to just drag'n'dropping the URLs from the browser into Picard instead though.)
2015-06-14 16518, 2015
CallerNo6
I don' want to confuse the issue, and it's good to learn how to retag a set of files, but it seems like what you really wanted to do is use the release-group cover art, which is an option in picard 1.3+.
2015-06-14 16513, 2015
Freso
CallerNo6: Ehm. No. Because the release they're currently tagged as is in the wrong release group, so that would still not give the proper CA.
2015-06-14 16558, 2015
CallerNo6
Freso, Is it the wrong release group? Maybe I misunderstood. I thought the only issue was grabbing cover art from a different version.
I would ask LordSputnik if that should be merged with the other one (it would seem so from its Discogs page), but I don't know enough about Beatles discography to care/dare to initiate that merge. :)

Well, it seems like the soundtrack is also from '69, so I guess it's not too far off to believe the single-release RG is the odd one out.

Freso also doesn't actually know if that'd be the German word, but the Danish word directly translates to "under water boat"…
