For a compilation of TV themes, performed by a mix of original artists and popular orchestras, should the composer be credited as track artist (as with soundtrack style) or the performer? (both are given in the CD booklet)

Just credit "LordSputnik" for all of the tracks, problem solved.

LordSputnik, as I understand Soundtrack style, go with the tracklist. So if both are credited maybe "<composer>; <performer>" to mirror CSG?

hibiscuskazeneko, what /is/ the current practice for merging? Last I remember, there were still a few holdouts insisting that even with ACs-for-ARs, an artist is a name (with very similar variations), not a person.

AFAIK the standard is only leave them separate if the other name is a separate project

That was the majority view, yeah. Do you know if the holdouts ever conceded? Or are artist merges still contentious?

I don't think we can allow people to edit someone else's reviews

It might be necessary, e.g. in case of spam

For spam, you can report a review and request that it be removed.

For low quality, you can down-vote a review if you think the usefulness is diminished.

For a stray typo, why not ping the writer?

In an extreme case, well, the reviews are CC so you could write a revision. But I don't know how attribution would work if you submitted your revision to CB.
