The only time I'd leave the full-width one is if the person who added it left an explicit edit note explaining why it was correct in that particular instance. Otherwise, out with them.

I guess some MB entries have a mix of full- and normal-width

If there are Latin characters used, I'd mimic what is done in English or other applicable Latin-character languages
