Lingo_: I don't think you can query using the search, but if you download the database, it should be possible to make an SQL query.

(Query for whether a release has cover art, that is. It is obviously possible to query for other things using the search. :))

Lingo_, if you want to get fancy, you could use the web service to get MBIDs and then use the CAA's api to check for cover art.
