hmm. chanserv's info command says the -s is modelocked, but the online help doesn't say how to manipulate locked modes as far as I can tell

kepstin: The modelock is fine. It keeps the channel from being secret, for instance. I don't want to change anything about the locked mode.

jesus2099: My initial ping was just to alert him of the spammer. I don't ping him instead of taking action myself, but if it's someone who targets multiple channels, the admins might want to deal with it on a higher level than per-channel.

it's already returning a cert for me.

I think one host they are load balancing to is unhappy so everything is slow as some requests go to the bad server but some go to the working ones

I do not speak for musicbrainz ops though; I can only confirm intermittent ssl problems.
