Hello Musicbrainz people. Im looking for app thats tag my library with mood info ? Have you any ? I Tried Jaikoz, but seems Jaikoz only read that fields, not retreiving/calculating from Acousticbrainz

omgyja: as far as I know, there isn't anything that does that right now. It could probably be done fairly easily as a picard plugin, if you can find someone willing to work on that

(picard already has a plugin that pulls "mood" info from last.fm, but I have no idea how last.fm decides on what mood to use)

kepstin omgyja: I think it's tag based like genres, just using a different whitelist. (E.g., instead of whitelisting "pop" and "rock" and "hip hop", it's whitelisting "happy", "sad", "mellow", "chill", …)

omgyja: AcousticBrainz can theoretically have mood info, but the highlevel classifiers to determine mood are not that well trained yet.

Wildwatz: Did you already do the "evaluation" task?

If not, please also add that to your line-up!

Freso: The link to the mailing lists were removed, but in the original document there were links to IRC and the forum too (and as said the mailing lists). So the addition of the community link wasn't even necessary, I just had to put it as the forum link.

Just remember that you have less than 36 hours to claim tasks in. :)

I'm trying to be pretty quick with approving the evaluation one so students can go back to doing 1 or 2 additional tasks, but I also know several students (incl. gcilou, IIRC) did the evaluation one as the final one last year.

I'll try to do my current task today, then I can (hopefully) do the evaluation after that. If this takes longer than expected I'm going to switch the task quickly.

What are the different icons on the right pane next to the songs? Green Square and Music Note

JuJUBee: I think they're documented somewhere on the Picard website?

A music note means that no file is matched to that track. A green square means that it's a(n almost) perfect match between the file's data and the track's data. Yellow means the match is less-than-(almost-)perfect and red means it's far-from-perfect.
