If it does not belong there? I would just make a new release / copy the wrong medium over to that (add disc - existing disc). Then delete the second medium from the one you pointed me to.

I use MediaMonkey to rip CD's. The problem with that (well not really a problem most of the time), is that it uses freeDB data to populate.
      • 2017-05-28 14831, 2017

      • Major_Lurker
With every new schema the freeDB thingy (whatever the technical term is) breaks.
      • 2017-05-28 14848, 2017

      • Major_Lurker
So I enter data to MB but MediaMonkey cannot see it.

You either spend a long time setting it up, use stupid docker or use even stupider docker inside a VM, and it doesn't even let you configure sensible stuff like HTTPS easily and doesn't work at all
      • 2017-05-28 14839, 2017

      • Lartza
        So yeah

what does the search-server (java) give you over and above the musicbrainz-server?

        Uhh it gives you search?
      • 2017-05-28 14855, 2017

      • Lartza
But, the mirror uses a search server already you don't need your own

      • wendle

      • wendle
Lartza: so request goes from client app -> musicbrainz mirror -> musicbrainz.org search server?
