From what I can see you hibiscus wrote a rather unnecessary loaded word which can easily be interpreted as being passive aggressive. Not much more to it than that from what I'm seeing right now.

I mean, it's not even a strict style guidelines - "Use of basic ASCII punctuation characters such as ' and " is allowed, but typographically-correct punctuation (such as ’ for the English apostrophe) is preferred."

I've taken issue in the past with that guideline not being strict. It encourages abuse.
One editor I know of in particular openly flouts it (going so far as to remove Unicode characters in favor of ASCII).

This editor (GTF1982) is not the editor I'm talking about.
As GTF1982 pointed out in their note, my edit was entered as part of a 20+ edit sweep. They only replied to this one.

Full disclosure: I see a lot of these initial imports with holes in them on a daily basis.
Missing Unicode characters, incorrect artists, spelling mistakes, etc.
Too many people blindly copy releases over from Discogs with no post-editing.
