case looks fine to me, wondering if 'Plattform' is deliberate on the part of the artist or if that's a mistranscribe

(I'd guess it's more likely the former, but it's worth asking)

Good question. Looks like that spelling shows up quite a few times in google hits. I don't know them well enough myself to know.

And I don't have the original media to look at the track listing.. just going on the discogs import.

discogs may have images

This is in fact an anthology… and I'd like to tie the recordings to their originals where I can. The discogs info says that the track "Glowing in the Dark" for example is from the single that MB already has.

Problem is: the original recording is listed as 8:48, the discogs entry is listed as 8:40… and the uhm… "copy" I have of this is 8:43.
someone has done the detective work to find the SV references for all the madrigals

on the other hand, that information is not anywhere in the original CD track listing or liner notes, and it makes the track listing noisy

I'd say "keep that info in works, not on tracklist"
2013-06-21 17258, 2013
Krystof
that is exactly what I hoped you would say

(I also have to admire this set of releases for their complete lack of decision as to whether it's "Libro de' Madrigali" or "Libro dei Madrigali". Particularly impressive is "Ottavo Libro de' Madrigali, Vol. 1" followed by "Ottavo Libro dei Madrigali, Vol. 2")

Well, I'm working on Naxos releases where their back cover and site claim different keys and opus numbers for the works in the same release :)

Sucking at data seems to be quite common, sadly

I have just put my CD of the second book of madrigals (opus 111, concerto italiano, rinaldo alessandrini) into picard for a CD lookup
I was just wondering if he's done much with the ninjatune data.

I'm keen to get it into geordi.
2013-06-21 17211, 2013
ruaok feels like hacking on data a bit

Krystof: you mean someone just linked a discID to the wrong place? not unlikely - just remove it from there then :)

ruaok: I'm guessing not much yet

ohh and ninja tune has given us thumbs of for adding their packshots (cover art) to the CAA. :)

ok, then I will try and get the data converted to JSON and see what that looks like.

Like JSON data!

But yeah - he was talking of trying to improve intra-geordi matching

(so, detect several items are the same release)

I'm sure a lot of those ninja tune ones could be matched to discogs at least :)

Does the info have track times or just track names?
2013-06-21 17200, 2013

I see no track durations. :(

hey people, what would you think that we saw the TRIBUTE albums in “Show Various Artist release groups instead” instead of (or additinally to) in “Relationships” ?
