I don't see any obvious way to correct it from the MB web interface

edit the releases which have the wrong recording and change the recording used for the track from the recordings tab

if the new recording doesn't already exist, add it beforehand (so that you can use the same recording for each of the releases)

oh, and if you do need to add a new recording, you'll need to switch to the direct search when looking up the recording

(the default is the indexed search which only updates every few hours)

is this a known bug?

nothing stands out as wrong, so I guess you'd need to explain what it should look like

it is not a multi-artist CD -- all the track artists should be the same as the CD artist.

but the tracklist editor won't let me do this.

jessew, click "credits" (to the right of each track artist) to edit (or delete) the artist credit.

http://musicbrainz.org/release/578b4b77-4419-45... has wrong track artist credits, too. Specifically, it's a joint artist album and only the first one shows up as an artist credit

A few times they have new ISWCs and it might make sense to keep them separate

And in cases where it says "remix" but it has new composer credits, that needs a work too

how do you actually find an iswc if you cant insert the disc

iswcs aren't on the disk, you have to look them up other places
