In folk there are songs and there are tunes. It's a binary divide. Though a set may comprise both, and a set is a single MBz recording related to 1+ works.

Song is a very general term it would seem. Depends a lot on the person and even their upbringing/education. I know of some people who would say "song" where others would say "track" and even "tune"

Same artist leading two different bands records two versions of a song (one with each band) at around the same time.
