Does anyone know how large the (uncompressed) MB database dump is?

Just the core data.

should be. the closed edits one is bigger than the rest combined and I think it was about 4 gigs uncompressed

hm, yeah, definitely, everything except the closed edits are about 7 or 8 gigs once imported into postgres, so it must be less

to be honest, I don't remember why I originally downloaded the database either. although perhaps that's just because it was so long ago now

The uncompressed core data dump is about 2 GiB large.

it was renamed in year 2005, should I add this anywhere?

begin and end date 2005

It will say "was renamed into X in 2005"

for the computer begin date would be best indeed
