Exactly. We bravely assume there's a reason for putting it into a release by some artist, and if there's no information to the contrary, release artist = track artist.

where do you see instrumental tracks getting "Artist: the composer" in booklets

it'll say "Composer:" or "Written by"

not "Artist"

in fact, you barely ever see "Artist: vocalist" in booklets either

And those same lines can be found on any track.

which suggests that even if it were relevant that it’s a sound track, it is a soundtrack.

As I said earlier, I don't know Japanese so I won't edit or vote on those releases. I try to stay away from those since it always ends up with Great Japanese Exception, which I deeply disagree with. 8)

Why “KPLECRAFT, 伊藤賢治” and not “KPLECRAFT and 伊藤賢治” or “伊藤賢治,KPLECRAFT”

japanese uses that comma (among other punctuation marks)

and the booklet and website credit the collaboration in that order

in a strict MB sense, it doesn't matter what the punctuation is because NGS allows for any string of characters to join collaborations in NGS

but as a purely 8-bit instrumental, it's highly likely it was used as bgm in the anime at some point

i dont even care about arguing tracks 4-5 right now since there's a belief that karaoke track artist = vocalist

but there is no logical argument to keeping track 6 as the vocalist
