i have an issue with the NGS... if i want to obtain the tracks of an artist.... should i query the "recording" table or the "track" table?. What is the difference between this 2 tables? I think that more than 1 row of the "track" table can point to the same row of the "recording" table, is that right?

tracks are generaly only useful if you want to see also the releases

I need some advise please... What do u think is the best way to retrieve the information from the MB database in the new NGS?

TheBrayn: the best thing would be to set it directly on musicbrainz.org :)

or you can just add it locally to your files. just right click on the file and click properties, you can edit the tags there

I've written a picard plugin, what's the best way to submit it? It probably needs a look over since I'm new at this.

well as long as the feature list can be ticked off by monday to satisfy GSoC, I have about a month of not much to do before uni starts when I can do any improvements or fixes that didn't make it

are we waiting for leftmost before it can do things like add things to the collection?

yeah and submitting barcodes isn't in the web service yet but that will be easy to add to the app
