I was working on some college a capella releases, and some releases from a choral group I was in when I was in college.

Have you ever thought about a mass email to, not the current editors, but our trying to find email addys for contact for the artists themselves, try to leverage them, either directly, or indirectly (they telling their fanclubs, etc), to try and get more/improved info?

Who cares more about good data than us? ...The artists themselves...

I sent an email to the current president of one of the groups I used to be in; I know had we had something like MB back then, we would easily have had volunteers to help add and improve the data, at least for ourselves... and once you've edited yourself, it's hard not to also spread out to editingother artists

The one group I did email, I used to be the vp. But I am half tempted to email every college a capella group in the db, trying to get them to get their members to improve their listings... and in the process, we prob pick up more than a few energetic, interested, and *good* editors - and lol, flesh out our college a capella listings :P
