        a long time ago
      • cooperaa
oh is this a new user thing?
      • ojnkpjg
        i think so?
      • is the user who posted new?
      • Kerensky97
You're right, now I rememeber hearing the same thing.
      • I guess he's new, I don't know.
      • RodBegbie
cooperaa: Just saw your message -- Yeah, VMWare Fusion doesn't work with the server image. I found that out myself.
      • cooperaa wonders if there's a new collab of the month
      • ojnkpjg
yeah, i just looked it up
      • all 0's on his stats
      • cooperaa
RodBegbie: ahh :( too bad, I was looking forward to it but had given up after trying a few times
      • ojnkpjg
        and joined march 8
      • RodBegbie
cooperaa: You can always boot over into Windows under BootCamp and run VMWare Player there, but it's a massive hassle.
      • Hopefully VMWare will fix that in the next Fusion release.
      • cooperaa
ahhh ... I don't want to stop torrents, stop iTunes, etc etc to reboot :)
      • BrianG
anyone a fan of The Donnas and know where the acoustic version of Take it Off comes from?
      • RodBegbie
cooperaa: You can *try* installing the latest Fusion beta and putting the network into "Bridged" mode. That might work.
      • cooperaa
        I tried...
      • I didn't flip the network settings around with the newest version... tried that with the older version though
      • RodBegbie
Yeah, it was very broken in the last version, and might work in the latest if you're on a network with DHCP
      • cooperaa is trying bridged
      • If that works, let me know and I'll give you a link to the latest server VM that I forgot to give to Rob
      • cooperaa
... if I used bridged I lose internet connection in the VM
      • RodBegbie
        heh. oh well.
      • cooperaa
        I hate OS-X
      • -bash: ping: command not found
      • screw it, as long as I can run Picard from terminal I could care what else works
      • lol... Metallica - 'Seek & Destroy' followed by The Pointer Sisters - 'I'm So Excited'
      • sometimes this 'Best of the 80's' compilation really throws some crazy twists into my Party Shuffle
      • Kerensky97
BrianG: I have alot of their CDs but I don't recall that version on any of the main albums.
      • catgroove
        luks?
      • luks

(not to interrupt... is there a way to make releases automatically expand when loading voting pages?)
      • BrianG
        yup
      • cooperaa
        in prefs?
      • warp submitted bug 2533 today.
      • warp
        ;)
      • BrianG
        yeah in prefs
      • cooperaa
ugh.. how did I miss it?
      • BrianG
i like in some channels how the there is a bot linked to the bug tracker
      • and it announces new bugs and status changes
      • cooperaa
found it... 'Collapse releases per default on pages which show full releases (except the release page)'
      • seems like something that should be in the 'Voting/Editing review pages' section
      • BrianG
i might be sleeping at my place of employment tonight :/
      • BrianG charges the DS
      • catgroove
brain: bug Aankhen about that, he's writing a new bot for #mb

      • catgroove
        ?
      • I saidthat?
      • :(
      • BrianG
        no, not you
      • catgroove
        oh
      • no I think its a good idea
      • BrianG
        also things like !keyword
      • catgroove
it should just announce the bug with maybe the topic too
      • BrianG
        to answer easy questions
      • catgroove
if it gets to much there should be a command 'bug announce off' or something
      • BrianG
if it only announces new bugs and status changes it shouldn't get too spammy
      • catgroove
it might also make sure that bugs aren't 'forgotten'
      • sometimes if a bug doesn't have the right server or milestoen or stuff. it may get 'lost'
      • it's not easy for thedev's wadign through thousands of bugreports
      • BrianG
        speaking of lost..
      • do you still watch that show?
      • catgroove
        yes
      • BrianG
have you gottent o season 3 yet?
      • catgroove
season 2 was kind of bleh, but season 3 so far is very interesting
      • so far has been very interesting* to use proper grammar
      • BrianG
        how cool was the fence?
      • did you get that far?
      • catgroove
        I don't think I've gotten that far
      • the last epiode was about jack getting tattoed
      • BrianG
the one after that has a cool guest star
      • catgroove
        ok
      • don't say anything , no spoilers plz :x
      • BrianG
