does someone here have a good knowledge concerning MIDI interfaces ? (I mean hardware speaking)
My MIDI(intrument out DIN5) ->gameport (MIDI IN, DB15) cable had been broken, and i'd like to ahve advices to repair it
the problem is that i've found several schematics on the internet that show hhow to bluid a new cable but the pin doesn't correspond to the pin which are used with my cable
I can find traces of soldering on pins 1-3-2 (DIN side) and 3-4-5-9-5 on the DB15 connector
and on the net it's 2-4-5 for the DIN
and 15-4-8 on the DB15 side
Also and do not have any kind of electronic components inside my cable (I've checked inside the conenctors)
Does someone know that kind of midi configuration and how to repair this cable (it was only the cable which was broken, my connectors are OK) ?
