It'll take weeks to validate all my music :(

I know the feeling.. I leave it running overnight, and it only gets maybe 500, 600 done each time

plus then the wierd ones where it's a perfectly fine ogg, but it gives a cannot analyze message

i wonder how well it would run on a dedicated computer

i bet not as fast as the cinco midi file organizer applies UMRNs

Hello. I set up the musicbrainz server per instruction. Everything works *except* I don't seem to have release data. If I do a search for "The Beatles" I get their page with "This Artist Has No Releases" at the bottom. But if I search for "Revolver" as a release, I get a link to it but cannot see the release. I see: Release with MBID 5f3ba07b-4a24-4cd5-b8ad-95ba0fcebec1 not found in the database

are you sure all the data was imported?

check the album table in your db

i had something like that happen to me when one of the tar.bz2 dump files was corrupt

I'll give it a try. I'm a bit of a newbie with sql. Does this make sense:

It could be some config thing. I wonder what's different in the code from when I search the release and actually follow the link to see release info.

When I search release "Revolver" I find it. But when I click to follow link, it says that the release is not found.
