CatCat cordially invites everyone to #lolcat for i can has loltimes?
Muz
zomg, picard is eating CPU cycles and eating in excess of 200MB of memory
CatCat
"no wait, its firepony"
Muzzz has quit
ok
MClemo
can I "copy" all ARs of one track to another?
CatCat
I CAN HAS #LOLCAT NOW PLZ?
brianfreud
not automatically
Shepard
ff is really using 220MB here and when not periodically restartet goes up to 500MB
brianfreud
but by hand? yup :D
CatCat
(ok yes i know capslock day was yesterday)
brianfreud
200 to 500's not bad... It's when I'm nearly at 2 gb I get ticked at FF :(
CatCat
uh 2 gb of *ram* ?
wtf
Muz
Shepard, 62MB here, and I've had this machine on since Sunday
CatCat
firefail
Muz
With Firefox open all the time at that
CatCat
firepony
firelooooose
operamoose
Shepard
well I "only" have 2GB of RAM in my machine so it has to swap all the time
err 1GB
brianfreud
my favorite though is on the FF site, where it says, essentially, "yes, sometimes FF takes ram and doesn't release it back to the os when it's done with it. This causes RAM use by FF to continually increase. This is not a bug."
CatCat
(can you tell the subliminal advertising of opera here?)
lolbugs
Shepard
44 tabs open though
brianfreud
last week I seriously got to 1.9 gb with TWO tabs of MB
CatCat pirker #musicbrainz
Shepard
mo: I wish opera was as extensible, I would switch immediately :/
CatCat
ok i cant waffle about with this anymore i promised mysef i would sell these comics, ffs theyre two _years_ old
brianfreud
yeah... I've said before, give me GreaseMonkey on Opera, I'll switch - real GM, not userjs
luks
what makes opera totally unusable for me is the lack of auto-complete in text inputs
CatCat
lol it has that
brianfreud
ugh, the autocomplete actually annoys me more than it helps
CatCat
or as good as
luks
nope, it doesn't
I often type similar but not the same texts
brianfreud
where it annoys me is when it opens the little hanging menu for autocomplete, and ends up blocking buttons under the text field
Shepard
vi > emacs!!! basically where we are now ;)
notchamunks joined the channel
brianfreud
Shepard, yes but at least we agree on one thing...
ANYTHING > IE :D
Shepard
