lauri: yeah, when I need to test things, I find it's fater to grab a random release at CD Baby and import it, rather than searching to find random existing release :P

BrianFreud, I don't think your script should import label, because most of the time there is no label

yeah, i have been ripping the label out of most of them

it's just using the info the artists provided - I leave it to be deleted by the script user, rather than potentially missing label info we easily could have snagged

yeah, i have had quite a few pick up the label, but it's few of them

seems to be leftover state that causes it to automatically do stuff it shouldn't

it always fails, so nothing bad gets in, but it's confusing

hmmm, it shouldn't; it kicks the state ahead a few steps to pull that off. Any idea what it's trying to still do?

that was the biggest annoyance with the script; it has so many steps, making sure they all happened, and only in the right order, and that they cleared cleanly if you broke off midway or skipped ahead... *bleh*

i think maybe what's confusing it is if you only import a TOC

i.e., the release is there

BrianFreud, one more suggestion, you should integrate your amazon script to the cdbaby one since 99% of cdbaby pages have the UPC

the value, if you just added a toc to an existing, ought to be 4

there's no time though it ought to be two dif values at the same time

If I were you, I'f go back to the "music" filter and just clear all them, to get rid of any doubled stuff that's leftover from the double-install

If you have the auto-ASIN script installed, it will have one value there, the rest should be the CD BAby script, using the "music" filter

nope

i'm mostly using firefox 2 still

because it's still set as my default browser

but everything still seems to work ok on ff3
