NAT, but i'm pretty sure i'm the only person making MB requests =(

JordanC: the green tagger button works by having the browser connect to picard, if that doesn't work, you can also try a drag & drop of the URL from the browser to picard. not sure if that works in the old picard, but it does in picardqt.

BrianFreud: Regarding your massive list of instruments on InstrumentAdditionDiscussion imported from Discogs... could I persuade you to take them and move them to InstrumentAdditionDiscussion/DiscogsImport or something like that?

BrianFreud: They really clutter up the page for the regular instrument additions, and there's no way we're going to just mass-add all of the Discogs instruments until we've figured out how to properly organise the tree.

If there is a difference between the title in the liner notes and on the back of the album which would you go with?
2008-05-05 12602, 2008
Freso
Kerensky97: The one that seems more sensible or consistent.
2008-05-05 12604, 2008

Kerensky97: Check with websites etc.
2008-05-05 12638, 2008
^^remilia^^
hopefully one of the two seems more intentional
2008-05-05 12643, 2008
Kerensky97
The back of the album is more consistant on the titles that were released on compilation albums.
2008-05-05 12659, 2008
Kerensky97
But not all tracks were reelased on compilation albums.
2008-05-05 12611, 2008
Kerensky97
The liner notes just expand on the title name.
2008-05-05 12642, 2008
Kerensky97
"Punk Guy" vs. "Punk Guy ('Cause He Does Punk Things)"
Kerensky97: In that case, I'd use the latter title, as that seems to be the more complete version.
2008-05-05 12649, 2008
Kerensky97
But the compliation album was just "Punk Guy"
2008-05-05 12600, 2008
Freso
Kerensky97: Just like I do "Set of Jigs: Jig 1 / Jig 2 / Jig 3 / Slipjig", even if the cover's back only say "Set of Jigs".

2008-05-05 12652, 2008

I'm undecided because while the liner notes are more complete, it goes against "Consistent Original Data" guideline, and assuming the official website counts as artist intent, the "Artist Intent" guideline as well.
2008-05-05 12625, 2008

You asked "which would you go with", and I've said what I'd do.
