can the URLs in artist relationships be edited? e.g. I'd like to change http://www.moonspell.com/index.html in http://musicbrainz.org/showurl.html?urlid=1782 to just http://www.moonspell.com/

or should I delete it and add a new relationship?

Click Edit Relationships, you should see an edit link for that relationship.

I seem only to be able to change the attribution (has an official homepage at, has a fan page at etc.. (http://musicbrainz.org/edit/relationship/edit.h...)

I don't see an option to edit the URL

how can i let mb recognise them?

there's a little lookup button on the bottom if you highlight the track

i know they are the right ones

(there's a link somewhere for picard)

they appear in the "unmatched files for this album"

for example, can i manually edit their tags in order to make them more similar to the ones in mb's database?

oh, you can drag those down to the album

you can look up the album, then associate the unmatched tracks with the ones on the album page

then write the tags

i select all tracks > cluster

i go to musicbrainz.org

i find the right album

sorry... after cluster i click on the album then lookup

then i find the right album in mb database and click on tagger (the green one on the website)

so far everything sounds good

then i click on my album in "album cluster" and draw it to the one in "album"

now i have 7 matched and the others unmatched

my question is: how can i make match the other ones?

are they in the unrecognized area under the recognized album?

You drag them up to the appropriate song names

then check them for times, to make sure that they are correct with the db, and then highlight the album and go up to the save tab

the similarity goes off of time, capitalization, spelling etc.

The closer you are to the db already the more similar it will be.

I don't know how much the puid comes to play in that. I don't believe it would if the songs were at all similar (it hasn't for me.)

Okay, then what ojnkpjg said, you can look up the albums., Manually edit your tags and then do the comparison afterwards.

That should give you 100% or near enough (but it's you doing the work for the tagger)

when you've dragged them all down to the album, you can select the album title heading then click the write button

and it'll write new tags to all the files

then they'll be 100% similar

the write button is the disk icon, btw

all but I think two mods are keeping the discs in the Disney artist. Everything else got resolved
