Someone said earlier that merges had to be voted on, couldn't be approved. So, I was wondering what votes I should concentrate on more..

I think, considering the amount of open mods, that the chances a automod approving a mod after you have voted yes is slim

i usually approve instead of voting yes because i only vote on my subscribed artists, and i won't vote yes unless i'm sure

I often aprove if thereis a slight error (to no fault of the newbie) and then edit it. (with modnotes of course)

I felt the same way ojnkpjg, but i found I can actually look up a lot of things and at least try and help the amount of open mods, even if they aren't "my artists".

I do the same sometimes mo, its sometimes a lot quicker to approve, correct and then explain what was wrong, then waiting for someone else to correct it

and I have general knowledge about a lot of groups, but only specific and precise knowledge on those artists I subscribe to. Those are the ones I can usually say yes or no by simply looking at the mod, because I've learned them that intimately.

and as long as there is explanation somewhere, with a link usually it helps a lot!

Mostly I mean that the wikipage is just retarded and full of information which is rather trivial and sounds more like a marketing scheme than an "encyclopaedia entry" or so

For instance, the first paragraph is about some stickers the band has distributed. After the first chapter (which makes up most of the entry), I still don't know anything about the band. :D
