      • 2006-04-14 10412, 2006

      • Nyght
;) I know more French and German than I do Spanish by far!
      • 2006-04-14 10440, 2006

      • Nyght
I think I can count up to five in Spanish and can at least get a good way in German and say some things besides that. Heck, I know more Japanese than I do Spanish.
      • 2006-04-14 10402, 2006

      • Nyght
unless, we're talking Taco, Burrito and Enchilada. ;) Oh, and La Jolla, we can't forget that!
      • 2006-04-14 10433, 2006

      • teleGUISE

      • 2006-04-14 10445, 2006

      • teleGUISE
La Jolla is definitely a nice place
      • 2006-04-14 10405, 2006

      • Nyght

      • 2006-04-14 10459, 2006

      • Nyght
anyway, I would drive my pretty thrashed camaro through there, loud engine, could do quarter miles in under 13 seconds.. yeah, you get the picture. :)
      • 2006-04-14 10435, 2006

      • teleGUISE

      • 2006-04-14 10443, 2006

      • Nyght
the cops would always give me hell if they didn't realize I had a friend on the force, then I'd causally say, oh, is Srgt Fuller working tonight? While you're calling in my plate would you say hi to him. :D I loved having a friend on the force. LOL
      • 2006-04-14 10411, 2006

but, I CAN say that, I've owned as many Camaro's as I have Mustangs.
      • 2006-04-14 10451, 2006

      • teleGUISE
luckily things were closed knit then.. or still is maybe.. now you mention a Sgt and they say yeah so...

      • Nyght
I know, but it was a tiny force.
      • 2006-04-14 10425, 2006

      • Nyght
Eventually they would see my car and just let him know what vicinity I had been in. :)

      • Nyght
and besides, I was never breaking the law.

      • Nyght
It was just a car that "didn't belong" there. and was a bit loud, so they coulda theoretically given me a fix it for the exhaust.

my camaro was built to the hilt. I've only been in one mustang that did the dollar bill thing like mind did. Mine broke the seat it had so much torque.

it was just insane, tightening those header bolts ever two weeks, replacing the header gaskets every month... trying to recall what else needed constant fussing, but, you felt like you'd gotten out of a hard core rock concert if you drove it thrity miles.

Um, as long as I could get it three houses away, that woulda worked. But, gram's and mom never bitched at me leaving at 2 in the morning, or coming home at 4 either, I didn't have too much to worry about, just pissing my neighbor off. :)

I think personally they're just trying to insure it's as close to tight as they can make it, when they can't tighten up the leaky ship from the WTC.
