mudcrow: It's just that the Danish-Danish musical instruments aren't as much fun as the Irish-Irish ones (pipes, harps, drums, ...). There are plenty of nice Scandinavian instruments ("nyckelharpa", "skalmeje", "Falster-pibe", ...), but, yeah.

Kind of related, but not really: I'd like if one was able to "split up" the tracks more intelligently - like on thesession.org. (Compare http://thesession.org/recordings/display/1359 and http://musicbrainz.org/album/f96d0661-57d3-4f2f... )

that is a problem at the moment Freso. Having more then one "song" per track. even more so when the track hassongs by more then one artist. But nothing can be achieved at the moment without a lot of code writing.

mudcrow: Yeah. It's also kind of a problem when it comes to inter-song relations and traditional music, since you'll easily see the same tune in three or more different sets (or "medleys", if you wish).

Being able to split tracks into different songs is planned (as I read it), but don't expect anything for quite a while.

(It would also be cool to be able to link between thesession.org's database and MB's...)

bring that up on mbusers mailing list (as long as you know for sure that theseesion.org dont have restrictons on linking)

I think it would make more sense for The Session to use MB's data to make their own lists.
