ah, just starting on the a's in my collection.. working down the alphebet, getting some things put into the db that weren't already there.. totally don't want to do the variant discs I still have to do from liners though

You had said instead of the type of votes, it would potentially be better to do votes that needed to be voted on.. I agree, but have no clue how to do it.

as far as the porting is concerned, i'd use wiki subpages like /Development/Subversion and /Development/SubversionModules etc, and basically paste the content from these pages: http://bugs.musicbrainz.org/browser/mb_server/t... into the wiki. then we can start intertwingling the content.

i feel these pages need not be integrated into the other wiki too much, the purpose of wikidocs is to have the pages in an editable place, such that no html coding is required to make changes.... not necessarily wiki pages like others.

okay, that was sort of what I had gotten from Don, or Ruaoc, that we were trying to go that direction.

hmm... i've heard other opinions before. they'd like to start from the leaves and work towards the trunk of the wiki tree. but that is almost unmanageable and takes too much time.

but since we discussed that, i've seen not much change (for a month, maybe).

oh, a quick remark: http://test.musicbrainz.org/doc/HowToVote <-- the mechanism of wiki docs does not display the title of the document. you have to manually add a title = Some Title = at the top of the document, else it looks rather weird :)

Somethings can be so .. slow, and yeah, you can't go from the leaves to the trunk, you have to start from the trunk and go outward.

ah, well, if you can point me to the pages that need the shifts from moderate to edit, and that sort of thing I will gladly do them, I just started looking myself and most of the pages I tripped on didn't seem correct for that sort of thing.

I can do this as I get more thoughts towards what to "do" with it. ;)

just pulled Billboard up and there is an Australian chart, but it is only available to subscribers
