no the apostrophe problem is only when the apostrophe is at the end of a word, for instance "Callin' The Boys" - it will not allow lower case

a very good magnetic cartridge (Ortofon or Pickering I recommend) a quartz driven turntable (Technics I recommend) an amplifier, very good cables (could be the most important) and cleaning tools for the vinyls. And for sure audio recording software.
