just make sure you're not using any of the MS specific extensions. :P

+ for string concatenation doesn't work in postgresql (use ||), TOP doesn't exists (use LIMIT), LIKE is case sensitive

I have both, my servers are unix (FreeBSD mainly), but I normally use windinoze as a desktop

freebsd on most of my machines :)

i went to the first class meeting and the two exams

after that semester, the guy who taught the class showed up at the apt. i was living in at the time

a friend of mine who was also living there was doing his master's, so he knew this guy

but i answered the door

i told him i was in his networking class, and he said he didn't remember me

i told him it's probably because i only went to one class

I plan to get by on minimal time spent in college it's a long story and so on, but I dislike being in college a lot

i enjoyed being a college student a lot

enough to make me consider going to grad school

until i came to my senses

I find the whole environment and various things attached to it rather depressing and eeh and it really leaves me in a sour mood/shitty mood most days so I figure it's easier to just avoid it :)

I found with most technical subjects, the course work is behind the current level of the subject. You only really learn the subject after you've left education and start working in a related industry

The coursework is a real drag in ICT indeed, and I have a habit of calling all of the "lessons" in the formatting just used because the "s seem rather appropriate
