Mudcrow: you should merge like you have done, tele is being dumb again :p
2006-02-28 05948, 2006
chocomo
the old mb-id thing will later redirect to the merged one
2006-02-28 05903, 2006
chocomo
with a removal it wont redirect
2006-02-28 05909, 2006
teleGUISE_
you and your mb-id crap ...it's not there and it doesnt happen so it doesnt matter
2006-02-28 05929, 2006
chocomo
mb-is aren't crap
2006-02-28 05936, 2006
chocomo

2006-02-28 05938, 2006
Mudcrow
actually there was quite a few of those roy rogers. I merged the one with an album and just renamed the ones that were just one track on a VA album
2006-02-28 05951, 2006
chocomo
good man mudcrow
2006-02-28 05938, 2006
inhouseuk
mo: the mb-id on the track will be treated the same either way
2006-02-28 05901, 2006
Mudcrow
I find it unbelievable that people can find so many different ways of typing Roy Rogers and The Sons of the Pioneers
2006-02-28 05911, 2006
chocomo
mud: people lare dumb :)
2006-02-28 05928, 2006

presently all it does is creat an edit that needs to be voted on, in which the purpose of having an automod status to help lower the amount of edits to be voted on..
2006-02-28 05958, 2006
chocomo
good :)
2006-02-28 05911, 2006
teleGUISE_
so until hell freezes over it just creates more voting
2006-02-28 05914, 2006
chocomo
tele: imho itsa sneaky way to do it
2006-02-28 05928, 2006
chocomo
think about lal the damn merges that you voted no on of mine :p
2006-02-28 05902, 2006
inhouseuk does it frequently, but only when he is 100% certain
2006-02-28 05907, 2006
teleGUISE_
there's nothing sneaky about it, the edit history is still there
2006-02-28 05909, 2006
chocomo
what if I just when aroundf and switched around track-artists and added aliases. and then it turned out it was wrong. I'd have to remove the alais. and that needs vote
2006-02-28 05944, 2006
chocomo
well I said *imho* your pov is your pov
2006-02-28 05948, 2006
teleGUISE_
on mudcrows thats 100% since its just a reverse and if ever was wrong could easily be changed
2006-02-28 05901, 2006
chocomo
well I like merges
2006-02-28 05918, 2006
teleGUISE_
NO you said - Mudcrow: you should merge like you have done, tele is being dumb again :p
2006-02-28 05923, 2006
chocomo
it all depends on what mudcrow himself wants too do
2006-02-28 05943, 2006
teleGUISE_
exactly and if you look again mo your name wasn't in the sentence
2006-02-28 05902, 2006

because you said that he *please just* etc
2006-02-28 05915, 2006
teleGUISE_
i had a feeling i should have just added a edit comment cuz id have to hear your steam
anyone familiar with the Bargrooves series... they all seem to be in the database with Volume numbers however none of the cover images, discogs or amazon listing use those numbers..
and is the site that opens a pop under playing crappy music
2006-02-28 05923, 2006
teleGUISE_
inhouseuk: you think this is possible.. for me to put a enhancement request in for... having the ability to instantly merge/copy AR's between (disc n's) so that when you add a discogs, wikipedia, asin, djmixed etc..etc.. you can do it once then copy it to the other disc.. would be a huge time saver!
2006-02-28 05915, 2006
teleGUISE_
you get a popunder from that seamless site??
2006-02-28 05934, 2006
inhouseuk
teleGUISE_: there is a new AR interface in development that will solve a lot of those problems
2006-02-28 05959, 2006
mustaqil_
With it cure my AIDS?

2006-02-28 05932, 2006
inhouseuk
teleGUISE_: yes, a popunder that I didn't notice until I closed the main site window and the music was still playing!
2006-02-28 05900, 2006
teleGUISE_
hmmm... copying of all the ar's and even the annotation would be nice.. it's so redundant... i catch myself doing (disc 1) and saying ahhh.. screw it :)
2006-02-28 05945, 2006
teleGUISE_
inhouseuk: hmmm guess adblock'er works good for that site.. cuz I get no pop under when opened or closed
2006-02-28 05911, 2006
teleGUISE_
inhouseuk: that's ff with adblock extension & filterset G
2006-02-28 05933, 2006
inhouseuk
I rarely go to sites that throw loads of adverts at me, so I just rely on the standard FF settings
2006-02-28 05955, 2006
inhouseuk
plus some of the adblocker stuff has privacy issues and sometimes contains spyware
2006-02-28 05920, 2006
teleGUISE_
yea... base ff filtering has improved over time.. the false positives are almost nill with filterset G... thats why i still use it..
2006-02-28 05911, 2006
ChocoSen
eh, hosts file and FF does it for me
2006-02-28 05918, 2006
teleGUISE_
if you;ve never used adblock, the cool thing about adblock is the filtering is all right there in front of you and totally editable
2006-02-28 05952, 2006
teleGUISE_
hosts file is ok... but has many limitations and if your host file gets to be too big it puts a performance hit on you.. same goes with the filterset
2006-02-28 05908, 2006
inhouseuk blocks really annoying stuff at his firewall
