yes. maybe this could be improved by pointing people to the first mod (in the interface only, not the db)

but the interface doesn't know what the first mod is unless it's also in the db...

the initial comment should be displayed at all the mods, but discussion cannot be disallowed on any of them

as i often have different comments on different edits i normally do the edit all and then go to my moderation page and add the comment to the open mods. perhaps a small textfield near every editbox would do it?

maybe. this could be hidden, and made visible by javascript if requested
