This is my question: Forgive my naivety on this subject, but I'm very curious about the technology behind Music Brainz and IEatBrainz. Does Music Brainz have an audio-fingerprint file for each song file? By which I mean, can it identify songs based on the actually "sounds" of the file? Is it as if Music Brainz "listens" to a song file for a couple seconds, and then assigns the appropriate track information?
