Does anybody know if MusicBrainz is suppose to convert unicode to english when writing to the ID3 tag?

ID3 tags support unicode, so...

not every program supports Unicode in ID3 tags

when I checked the other day out of 31k tracks 26k are in asian languages

so no unicode == no point

actually, thta was badly phrased. 26k are by asian artists or asian related sources like konami game OSTS

I didn't check the actual languages though, with the amount of english in it I'm sure it's down to only 20k or so with non-english in the tags
