just a whole bunch of different transliterations and translations

like http://musicbrainz.org/album/cf6401da-1006-494f... is the intial Japanese release with the English/russian titles and http://musicbrainz.org/album/6a32a432-e7f3-4aeb... is the same Japanese release with the title transliterated into Japanese

and if someone wanted to they could add a third version of that same release with the title translated into Japanese instead of transliterated

and then for real fun if I remember right there was also a delux edition Japanese release with more tracks that could get the same treatment

because not everyone speaks English and some would prefer a translation into their language, even if it's not official

same thing with a lot of Asian stuff, there are unofficial translations in MB

so in your defintion i could take *any* english album in mb and just translate the titles to german and add that as a release?

I prefer official translations myself as well

but I don't even like transliterations unless they were actually released that way

but if you translated into Norwegian I wouldn't know if it was wrong or right

so you wouldn't have to worry about that critiquing ^^
