        it has crossed my mind a few times, I wonder if part of the reason (besides the tagger not being usable for it) that there isn't very much for Japanese artists on MB is that they generally always have a complete discography available on their website or label site. Every time I try to look up a Spanish or English artist I'm filled with hate for the lack of easy info on their websites

      • ruaok
        I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.

        Consider this: if the labels in the US were friendly to online sales and released their own stuff in mp3 with clean metadata, there woulbe less reason for MB to exsit.

        japanese artists have every tiny little detail and then english ones only mention they have an album once
      • 2005-01-08 00841, 2005

      • DJKC
        I'm also amused that if not directly on the artist's site then it generally only takes half a minute on any of a few major, licensed lyrics sites to find all the lyrics to a song

        cikkolata: as another amusing note to the pattern - http://www.toshiba-emi.co.jp/radiohead/disco/inde… Japanese web site has a nice, full discography for them. Their English website seems to be something designed to make people want to never visit it more than once

      • DJKC
        or possibly that's just my reaction, randomly clicking stuff for about a minute hasn't gotten me to any actual site that I can tell -_-;
