-_- http://musicbrainz.org/album/5058c44b-0dc4-4a56... has two disc IDs associated with it somehow, but doesn't match track list in the label discography entry nor even the tracklist on amazon linked to on there...
I forget the exact thing that needs to be done. :-(
submit your cd index id.
I think the problem lies with windows.
9x series do things differently than the ture 32 bit windows.
IIRC
kylev
hmm, this is a linux app that isn't working
and mbtagger is on my winxp machine
is there a web-way to submit a cdindexid?
ruaok
yes, the URL you pasted above. :-)
kylev
well, um, duh
must be my bed time
ruaok
you and me both. :-)
cikkolata
me too, even though I just woke up.
I think I got at most 4 hours sleep
maybe the cat woke me up
kylev
thanks all
now I print the web submit url on lookup failure, which makes life good again
ruaok
:-)
ok, I'm off to bed.

Got a question, if anyone's alive ... I'm trying to get a working musicbrainz enabled tagger for linux, and so far, not one of the ones I've tried will compile under a fresh install of FC3 ... Any suggestions?
HairMetalAddict
No really good Linux options at this time. New tagger will be cross-platform, but it's not stable yet.
I'm using the official Win tagger via Crossover Office (wine) on Linux.
kass
I've tried it, get an OLE exception
HairMetalAddict
Crossover, or regular wine?
kass
I can't get any of the taggers linked from the website to even compile. :(
Tried Wine and Cedega, no luck with either
Cedega just gives a shinier OLE exception error
HairMetalAddict
Got IE6 installed?
kass
I don't think so ... I don't use Windows by choice so upgrade nothing
So whatever 2k comes with is whats there
probably IE5?
HairMetalAddict
I meant installed in Wine. ;-)
kass
I've got a Windows partition that I point it at
HairMetalAddict
oh
hmm...
kass
It does throw some strange error about Mozilla in Cedega
HairMetalAddict
dunno then.
kass nods. :/ I've just got a pile of horribly named mp3s that I wanted to tidy up, and after seeing Amarok on a friend's PC, I thought it looked about perfect.
All I know is it works with Crossover, after installing IE6 in Crossover (required for the tagger).
kass
be able to view webpages in this application
Is the error it throws me, so I'm wondering if that's the Moz equivalent
HairMetalAddict
Hmmm, sounds like you've got Mozilla set as a default browser somewhere in Win settings.
kass
Yeah
HairMetalAddict
The tagger has to use IE.
kass
Generally the first thing I do is install moz and use it to grab a virus scanner and ad scanner
HairMetalAddict
Unfortunately. ;-)
kass
ahhh... So I need to turn Moz off as the default browser
