I was quite suprised though, people here are rarely as drunk and abusive as elsewhere on IRC

first time in about 10 years. I got fed up with splits happening all the time. I use Gaim and noticed it had irc capabilitys so i thought i'd see if it worked.

I used to use a vt100 terminal on a vax to access it.

sorry, with my generation a Vax is a brand of vacuum cleaner and my model didn't come with a terminal. Cleans carpets though...
