well, any cdrom should be able to read it. Sure car and portible technology is behind.

But it's not the music industries best interest to make cd-ripping more accurate ;)

without mp3 I bought 5 CDs a year. Now I buy 30+. Perhaps I would buy even more with CD-TEXT ;-)

The library says 89ad4ac3-39f7-470e-963a-56509c546377 is the ID for 'Various Artists'

However, all various artists albums I checked had a different ID.

did you run the autogen.sh script before you configured?

I see libtool contains a lot of this: | $Xsed -e 's%^.*/%'`

if $Xsed was empty, that would cause it...
