i would have said: you do it just like other releases on CD, just that the format is "Digital Media" instead of CD %)

SothoTalKer, sometimes. It's really the "date first sold on Amazon", so it doesn't work for older releases, and can be wrong for things that were re-added to the store at a later date.

The label is often a good source. Or reviews. Or the band might have a blog or social media page with the announcement.
