CatQuest has this.. I dunno if it's a ff plugin or if it's some cript or setting or some natural thing, anyway it lets me open up things that's usually a button in new pages. by using middle click button. so I select whatever types and middle click the button and it opens that page in a new tab
ok, worked perfectly, but there is still the redirect issue. i wonder if it even can be done by using the userscript
yeah i can middle click it to open the merge in the new tab, but it sucks cause you have to close the new tab after every merge

after the merge i landed in the recording instead of the page i just linked

yeah because you have to close it after every merge
and it doesn't update the highlight on the first page unless you refresh the page
so you don't know which recordings you merged already (assuming you visited them before)
to check acoustids for example
so yeah, it kinda sucks

because i am not sure if people want this as default behavior
cause the argument against can be that you want to check the target recording (or whichever recording you land in) after the merge if everything is fine and if the merge went through
but merging 10 pairs of recordings while landing away from the artist's recording page is not really practical
i guess i can just open a ticket at jesus' repo alongside a jira ticket (if there isn't already one) :P
should have saved me so much time when i was looking at edit history to find out which mbid is the oldest one :/
