FWIW with the chorus master / conductor thing ... I use chorus master if that's what is stated on the release, and conductor if it is not
      • 2017-11-14 31858, 2017

      • MajorLurker
Although I think I may have been guilty in the past of confusing the two.
      • 2017-11-14 31849, 2017

      • MajorLurker
And there is really no way of knowing (without being there) whether the chorus master (as listed) does not also conduct the choir on the performance
      • 2017-11-14 31832, 2017

      • SothoTalKer
        hmm
      • 2017-11-14 31818, 2017

      • MajorLurker
The chorus master is the poor sod who has to rehearse the choir and bring them just to the peak of perfection, only to hand the songsters over to the conductor of the concert who then takes the credit for the fine job they’ve done on the night <<< haha

technically we should have "choirmaster" as a choice, perhaps... they train and conduct https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/engli…
      • 2017-11-14 31819, 2017

      • MajorLurker
I definitely have confused chorus master and choirmaster in the past.

I can't seem to remove tags with Picard. I remove all tags from an album with a missing track, I re-add the album, do a re-lookup, add the (previously missing) track, update all the tags and save but the missing track doesn't get added to the album.
