oh, right, sorry. there are events and then parts. I meant, each *year's* festival would be linked to a series.

Hello, all. I've been playing with a MusicBrainz Solr implementation, against a full, replicated database. When I run `python -m sir reindex` to populate the initial index, I get lots of these errors when it starts indexing recordings: "/usr/lib/mbz-sir/venv/lib/python2.7/site-packages/mbrng/models.py:9729: UserWarning: Value "" does not match xsd pattern restrictions: [['^[0-9]{4}(-[0-9]{2})?(-[0-9]{2})?$']]

Hey folks, looking for some style guidance. There's a Dance Dance Revolution OST release with a few tracks I'm not particularly pleased with;
I would really like to update the MBz tracklist to be: Megamix 1: Song A, Song B, Song C. Megamix 2: Song A, Song B, Song C, etc. But, should I? Is the tracklist from the physical media more important than more context offered elsewhere?

My sense is, if the expanded titles are in the liner notes or CD's metadata or something, then use the expanded title. Otherwise, leave it as is on the release but maybe expand the recording titles.

So, bitmap is working on highlighting artist credits that have pending edits (so are being edited): MBS-5387
We're trying to figure out how to actually mark it
2019-04-30 12008, 2019
reosarevok
Problem: if the artist credit has only one artist in it, just highlighting it orange doesn't help - there's no way of knowing if that highlight is for the specific artist credit or just the artist itself
Does it make sense? Does anyone have better ideas?

An edit for an AC is still an edit for an artist.
2019-04-30 12049, 2019

Freso: IMO yes. I want to know if this specific AC is being edited or not
2019-04-30 12015, 2019
Freso
We also can’t currently see if a pending edit (based on the colour) is for a relationship or a name change or what it is for an artist.
2019-04-30 12030, 2019
Freso
Sure, so go look at the pending edits?
2019-04-30 12001, 2019
reosarevok
The point is for every other AC, you can tell if it's being edited or not. For one-artist ACs you can't
2019-04-30 12016, 2019
Freso 🤷
2019-04-30 12018, 2019
reosarevok
(other ACs will have join phrases orange too, so you can tell the difference)
2019-04-30 12048, 2019
reosarevok
So not being able to tell for a specific subset of ACs seems pretty crappy
