King_DuckZ: Thanks. The multi-file cover art feature turned out to be easier than I had expected, I had feared for some serious performance issues. But it revealed some bottlenecks and the end result is actually optimized code also for other cases. In my testing so far this works really well, but some additional testing would be great

I have Picard running on two different Macs, same OS. Double checked settings all seem to be the same. But one insists on turning Gdańsk into Gda?sk. Any ideas?

Figured it out, I actually set the album title in a script and copying and pasting the script through Remote Desktop changed it.
