but it's equally simple to say, 'a label is the entity associated with a logo/imprint'. that's what the logo-centric people like so much about that formula. it's simple. easy to apply.

JonnyJD_, the argument goes (iiuc): an 'imprint' is literally a branding, like branding cattle. Any logo on a release is an imprint, so add it.
