I think I need some help

I'm trying to merge a bunch of recordings but so many recordings have matching AcoustIDs (and two have the same ISRC) but their times are all over the placae

How i can attach a pdf book (from downloaded archive) to a release ? That's a 138-pages pdf booklet from a digital release, with links to websites (so conversion to images isn't that great).

afaik, the pdf document isn't available online (just in the archive)

many do nowaday

I haven't bothered to upload them anywhere or link to them since they're both locked

I imagine the IA would accept them, not sure how well they'd work though

I do worry extensively about the CAA

especially after reading through Wikipedia's image policies

it'll say it was a success and then when I click on the image it'll give me a 404 error

as if the image never went through but the edit did

as I was about to say: yes, the files haven't made it to the right place yet, so it's a 404

this is not good

the IA is largely a big mystery and I may be completely wrong, but as I understand it, files first get uploaded to an incoming area, then they're moved to the correct place, and sometimes there's a delay between files arriving in the incoming area and being moved to the correct place

and if they don't get filed in time it ruins the edit?

the edit won't be affected by it, it just won't be displayed

so effectively it's a wasted effort

it's giving me an error message saying "Cannot open /dev/disk2"

if /dev/rdisk2 doesn't work, then it's probably changed numbers

I tried /rdisk3 and /rdisk4 and it still didn't work

even /disk0s2 doesn't work

the optical drive is showing up as /dev/disk1 in Terminal, yet I typed that in Picard and it still can't open anything

is this some kind of security feature?

JonnyJD_ has made some improvements regarding drive detection on latest master, you should give it a try and report

especially concerning MacOSX
