but it should illustrate where I am going with the new UI.
use the file browser to drag files to the analyzer.
real
hmm
i cant drag anything
ruaok
the analyzer will then cluster the files and bundle them into albums shown on the right.
real: its a prototype -- its DOESN'T FUCKING WORK!
real
oh, i thought you suggested to use the file browser to drag files ;x
croakur
cool stuff
real
niot explaining
ruaok
does the approach make sense?
Pipian
*mumbles*
time to emerge wxPython
real
sure why not! i never used the windows one so i dont know
ruaok
melange: do you see where this is headed??
croakur
yeah, I think the organization will be much improved
melange
yeah, I get the idea ..
real
damn its not identifying anything, and the album art doesnt show up !!!
just kidding!!!!!!!
jwatk03 joined the channel
ruaok
it will employ a whole lot of drag and drop.
and it should use TRM less too.
croakur
heh real
that's a cool idea htough
get the album art showing up too
real
it will, there is a part there for it see
ruaok
I think album art is an important visual cue.
croakur
I'd go so far as to say album art is the most important
displaying the contents of the album doesn't get more exact then the back of the album
melange
ruaok: I'd probably prefer more space be given to the "detailed info" - ie: across the whole bottom, if possible. Nothing annoys me more than not being able to see all the info
ruaok
melange: not a bad idea.
Pipian
ruaok: are you supposing to save the album art?
ruaok
not bad at all.
Pipian: no.
:-(
Pipian should think not
Pipian
Well
ID3v2 sucks for that anyway
=P
ruaok
MBChatLogger: stop
Pipian
Just link them like APE does! XP
ruaok
See, thats manageable. :-)
real
just have someone release a patch to save the stuff, im being secretive for chatlogger overlord
Pipian
Well
not only that
but it's less messy
Anyway
I'm still wanting people to adopt my otherwise unknown tagger library >.>
melange
ruaok: looks like planetmirror is playing funny buggers with your mirror
ruaok
is that our .au mirror?
melange
yep
ruaok
what's wrong?
melange
sits there and doesn't respond (that's probably IE not dealing with the problem correctly)
