which means that the -lexpat link was omitted for the compile time build for mb_client.

mb_client should include the reference to expat.

any application that uses mb_client should cleanly compile with just -lmusicbrainz

it should not require the caller to add extra flags on behalf of mb_client

well, or at least all of them should be listed in the pkg-config file

python setup.py build

sudo python setup.py install

These bindings require the ctypes package from python:

If you are fortunate enough to be on debian, just entering 'apt-get install python-ctypes'

does the trick and sets everything up.

I think the key will work faster, BTW.

I think I rememeber entering an RFE for adding release year to the album data entry page.

That way the user can enter a release year while entering all the other data.
