does anyone know about the SG5DR changes? Does it just mean that album.artist could be different from track.artist (and not 1)? Is there any easy way to tell if something is a VA album?

SG5DR means that trackartists can be different from albumartist also when it is not ==1, yes

and you can only tell that an album has different artists by looking at every track
