yalaforge: problem is that I found some bugs in lucene.

if I build my own queries, nothing is found.

if I take the queries that I constructed and turn themn back to text and then feed the text to the QP, it finds them.

weird.

I had that problem on more than one occaison.

but it might be some strange analyzer issue.

the analyzers also work weird.

anything where python could be in the way?

I probably need to write custom analyzers for our searches

oooh. lucene 1.9.1 is now supported by pylucene. I will probably upgrade our search to that and see what issues I find there.

I thought about it more and realised I hate the countries in the titles but I like (album version) and then I get a bit inconsistent and confuse myself

I hate it when (album version) gets removed from tracks on singles

imho that's another thing.

that would really annoy me if I used MB data for anything ;-)
